No drugs with ADD/ADHD and Brain Wave Optimization

See "Ritalin Gone Wrong" by L. Alan Sroufe, PhD Psychologist in New York Times: Sunday Review for January 29, 2012. The article points out lots of issues with Adderall and Ritalin including: "...they neither improve school achievement nor reduce behavior problems. The drugs can also have serious side effects, including stunting growth."
Many ADD/ADHD clients are finding Brain Wave Optimization very helpful.  This includes both adults and children and no drugs are used.
The husband of one client at Brain Integration Institute, A CIHH provider, noted after just a few days of a 10 day "Intensive" that she had started to speak in whole sentences which he had not known her to do.
Why not try letting a brain correct itself by balancing itself--instead of chemicals.
